Looks to me like some sleazeball penny-scammers wanted to hire her, she didn't want to get involved, and spread the news about the scammers. They got mad they were exposed, and sued her.

What was the outcome ?

"It is easier to fool someone, than to convince them they have been fooled."

For those that don't get it, it means that people need to be more careful, and do good due diligence.
