The Russian nation is shot and the power struggle for the control was between the hardliners and the others. That is over and was lost when Gorbichev left. Keep in mind that Putin was the head of the KGB. Russia is a totally different world. A good chunk of people are drunks and don't care. Any Russian is free to come to the US. It is not as it used to be. Russia is in bad shape. It is easy to keep people from coming to the US from there. All they have to say is, here in Russia you are taken care of. In the United States you are on your own. And people don't like leaving their home country. They live with it. Just like in the US, people don't like to move to a better state because they have been where they lived all their life.
As far as North Korea goes: I doubt anyone there risks their lives to see anything from the US considering the hundreds of thousands of people that are in labor camps for doing far less, and how that country is run.
Yes, all nations must be watched all the time.
I said 20 years ago that England would pull out of the EU. England and the EU are 2 different worlds. Some others may come and go but I think the EU will be around for a long time.
You say Trump will change the world. Think what it takes to change just a nation. This nation's problems can not be totally blamed on it's leaders. It is the people of this nation who put them in office. To change a nation, the people have to change. Trump wants to do that and make people more patriotic and think about the nation and make it better, not suck everything you can out of it.
