Keep in mind, the people of Russia are also tired of a corrupt nation (far, far worse than ours, even).

Many Russians are truly enamored with the wonders of America, as corrupt as it may be, which still lives better lives than most of them do.

We don't risk our lives to smuggle Russian films into our country, but many Russians do, just to see how the 'better half' lives. Same with N. Korea.

We can think of Russia as it was 20 yrs ago, or we can remember it's a constantly changing world where even N. Koreans risk their lives just to watch an American flick.

One must constantly update their assessments of foreign nations in order to calibrate changing tides.

Personally, I find it fascinating how only 'world powers' still use nuclear bombs as a threat when the vast majority of the world population is totally against it/them.

Amazingly, and not a year too late, people are standing up for themselves and not their establishment dictators, for what they truly want. Brexit was the first. Others in EU are following. America is closely behind, and a Trump win will be the gipper that changes the world.

Mark my words.
