jssdmm,

In one your posts from last year (15867) you stated the following in part which is so true:

Photonics vs. Biotech

It appears that the comparison between the two is largely based on the explosive growth seen with some biotechs and anticipated with LWLG. Though not dissimilar, investing $25 million or whatever amount in a biotech is different just for the sake of quantity. Every year, there are 100s of small biotechs (almost all with promising stories right) that come into view. Investors are able to make judgements based on the comparison between the biotech firms or even invest in 10 hoping that one makes it.

LWLG doesn't have many or any competitors except for all of the R&D that was invested by the big firms over the years and we have very little way of knowing the outcome of these efforts at this point.

Outside of inhouse R&D on the part of the big tech companies the only competition for LWLG is GIG for polymer photonics. The big companies don't have many options. In fact LWLG may be their best option and possibly their only real option.

Also, unlike most small biotechs LWLG does not have to spend vast sums to get their products to market. I think LWLG only burns through approximately $3 to $4 million per year. Also, unlike biotechs LWLG does not have clear regulatory hurdles (FDA). With a photonics company such as LWLG it's all about market adoption.

GATES.
