Prior to last week and Friday in particular, I'd held 6,000 units of SDLP. As of this moment I no longer have a position in the company. The reason for this is simple:

Domiciled in the UK, there's simply too much going on for me to feel comfortable holding units. That, coupled with the fact that NGL (another fave MLP of mine) dropped to around $17/unit, became a compelling case for financing the acquisition of additional units in the safer play of the two---NGL versus SDLP.

Should things simmer down over the next month or so, I'll have no compunctions whatsoever when it comes to reinstating my position here. SDLP has many good points. The problem isn't so much the company but, rather, the time and related uncertainties in the UK.

I'll still be covering the company and its developments so feel free to fire away.
