Moments ago I sold 600 units of SDLP. This is a 10% reduction. It seemed a timely thing to do as I've got a 90% gain stretched across 6,000 units. I'm thinking of unloading another 600 units, also at $5.60.

There are picks out there with less risk, in my opinion. And when I say risk--- It's not so much the seed capital funding the position earlier this year when I launched it. Instead, it's a concern for protecting gains already earned. And the distribution is high but it's not calling loudly to me. I hear the 25 cents but I'm also seeing more than $2.50 in appreciation gained and it's screaming.

SDLP has been a great pick for me and I'm definitely prepared to stay with it. That $3.04 cost basis is staring right into my eye, however, and it's asking me why I'm not diverting some of the gains towards other stocks.

So I'm trying to decide what to do. And I've just now decided to sell that second 600 unit tranche.
