autumn it is the delivery fleet that is the big win.

It is perfect for the tethered hydrogen infrastructure Andy has been promoting this year. All trucks with battery and range extender fuel cell (like FedEx is trialing)

Using Electric vehicle design (not an ICE central engine but individual electric motor on each wheel), battery for up to 40 mile and range extender for further distance without returning to base - fewer bases needed more productive delivery schedules etc

PLUG would have to be a partner in one or more consortium bidding to design/build manage the fleet of 180,000 vehicles.

The new reformer solution is ideal application for this as well.

If there is news on this front its timing will be being dictated by the USPS bidding process and all other partners so no way we can predict anything - if you see any news on this project please provide links so we can keep track.
