IF Proven Illegal Stock Price Manipulation EACH Hedge Fund associated with NWBO + other biotechs? would IMHO cause an 8.5 on the Richter Scale. It would undermine the very heart of investing (which NWBO investors and many other biotechs have witnessed! just in the last year): AND IT HAS EXISTED FOR EASILY 20+yrs IMHO (take a real close look at DeepCapture.com). In Larry Smith's LONG career of some 30+ yrs.. only recently has he seen in the last year stock price manipulation because he was just doing research. This happens clearly in NON institution type emerging biotechs vs those others that have a reputable underwriter with respectable research and institutional distribution. It would also ramify that these exceptionally powerful malignant forces almost took down the US economy with the 2008 financial crisis if it were not for:
1)the clearly insufficient stimulus TARP funds of $700 Bln and more importantly
2)Fed'l Reserve Bernanke opening up the monetary spigots.

Such actions undermines entrepreneurial disruptive technology by depriving them of OXYGEN and expose a VAST network of financial corruption.

Obviously the above is much more serious than the litany of successful cases against HF's due to inside information like the Raj Ranmanthan? case where his HF was close to $12 bln.

Just take a look at the recent example of the mere publicity of bringing a case would cause a run on client defection/redemptions that would impair their operations. One only needs to look at the RAPID dissolution of Visium (formerly an $8 bln HF) with the right hand arm of the founder committing suicide on allegations of paid inside information from a former FDA official in Generics (think Momenta etc).

So ILLEGAL STOCK PRICE MANIPULATION IMHO clearly supercedes that of Inside Information cases and reaches the stature of Bernie Madoff!
