I kinda cringe a little when someone doesn't take proper credit for positive outcomes only he/she was in position to claim.

So you don't have quite my result? Dang, I'm proud to be part of your personally selected team! I'm proud that we both can sport these fine gains and I'm always happy to see others benefitting from board discussion.

And, something I've been saying for years when it comes to acknowledging gains?

"I've never met a profit I didn't like!"

You're doing great, we both know it. Be proud of yourself for having made smart choices and having demonstrated the courage of your convictions.
