$9,355 is hardly an impressive number in my opinion. He may have been thinking only of offsetting the downward slide and nothing more than that.

I understand that a smart person doen't put money at risk needlessly when the investment vehicle is plunging and there's no bottom in sight. Still, this is a trifling sum i9n the investment world. I'm not impressed.
