I just watched a documentary "Blood Brother" on Netflix about Rocky Braat who went to an orphanage for HIV positive children. The film touches on the pills these children have to take 3 times a day but they also get into the side effects of these drugs. Some children became blind. It is not just the convenience of a once a month shot that is appealing but the fact that there is no toxicity and no side effects is amazing.
