That's a loaded question, by loaded I mean to say it is a multi-faceted question thus more than one question. I think like you, it is more of a political movement than a religion, and even as a religion it is a movement that wants to remove all that will not convert to their way; thus it is an enemy of freedom and the US as a whole. I have written much about this and posted much on this subject. It is far too faceted a problem, I cannot address in just this post.
However, please feel free to drop in during Happy Houron here on iHub on Fridays when there a one-hour block where everybody has the premium features enabled for them. I invite you to post these questions during this hour, and I would also include that you are doing so during Happy Hour and wait for some replies as I am sure there are people who would answer you and as well as many who would agree with you.
