But my point is that I suspect there's a potential for fraud within the paragraphs, whether by deliberate action to conceal or just plain carelessness---or, as I suspect is likely the case---determined exclusion of pertinent factual information by somebody in management. If management failed to provide the lawyer with critical information, then...,of course, the attorney is off the hook. Early on in the document Mr. Cook, Esq., states something to the effect that he's going on the strength of information provided him by management.
To me, that is a disclaimer of sorts.
