On 12 August 2015, huge explosions in the Binhai area of the city caused widespread damage and hundreds of casualties. The cause was not immediately known, though reports initially pointed to an industrial accident.[5] Chinese state media reported that at least the initial blast was from unknown hazardous materials in shipping containers at a plant warehouse owned by Ruihai Logistics,[6] a firm specializing in handling hazardous materials.[7] 159 people were killed, nearly 800 others were wounded, and 14 remain missing.

So essentially the US tried to blow up their supercomputer center to technology/hacking/space work. No shock. Wish we had succeeded we might have gotten them to go down somewhere before they attack us!
...Tian Jin Was probably a manufactured insurance claim... Since the Chinese economy wasn't doing anything anyway...
