What if he stumbled across Lightwave in his efforts so now instead of InP (Indium Phosphide) he is looking at substituting one of Lightwave polymers, could be? These guys play chess and only the good lord knows what they are up to how they will structure this, who will be involved, which cards will be tipped, how the financing will be arranged and at what time etc.

Lightwave presentation slide 15

“Today these applications are served by Lithium Niobate and Indium Phosphide devices.”

Remember Lightwaves Polymers are a step or 2 past InP. (Slide 10)

That’s what I think. If it makes sense it is probably true.

I also like the “Even though this is led by academia, it has to be governed by industry and run by industry. My job is to bring in industrial partners to the consortium and create roadmaps, so that the products on the roadmap are what the industry needs,” Comment.

He has his fingers in many areas AND the fact that Lightwave Logic CREATED a slot for him on the board AND he is on the “Operating Committee” should tell us something.

Keep up your good work Steve, Thanks
