…in another excellent Board on GILD, there is a long exchange about big traders being disappointed to not see exciting acquisition plans from the Gilead leadership.

What would you expect GILD management to say about M&A? They certainly aren’t going to tip their hand publicly, which might work against their economic interests. I posted on this matter in #msg-115754493.

p.s. Which “excellent” GILD message board are you referring to? If people on that board are themselves disappointed in the CC discussion re M&A, I would have to question whether the quality of the dialogue on that board is as high as you suggest :- )
