"pouring millions into developing new technology to spin the proteins or find uses for the proteins once developed. "

millions...sounds like a lot..i suppose it is for penny stock investors when its coming out of their pockets...but when its coming from vc, grants, large corporate partners, etc, its peanuts...

"KBLB just needs to get the silkworms created, then let them breed like any other silkworm to create stronger fibers."

in the lab, yea...if thats all they needed to go commercial, it would have been accomplished within the last 4 yrs...it hasnt been though...and there has to be a reason why kblb hasnt sold a strand of silk in the 4 yrs that they have had ms...why no matter what they announce its still 3 cents a share...

"there will be enough demand, especially initially, for every fiber that is produced with superior qualities."

odd as it may seem, i believe kblb's method of spider silk production is already antiquated...and no one has even commercialized their silk yet lol...i think kim thought he was so far ahead of everyone else that he had all the time in the world...i think he thought that everything would easily translate from lab experiment to mass production...and it hasnt...

kim's best shot is to get kblb commercial asap and sell the company to the highest bidder....asap...i wouldnt count on nanotubes saving the day...
