Now suddenly, because of the PRs about the Vietnam MOU and Dragon Silk(TM), we are seeing spider silk stories where KBLB is mentioned First and most prominently and the other players or would be players are the filler and the afterthoughts!

That is exactly right. The reason is that KBLB has the absolute best science behind it. Not because you or I say so, but simply because no one has claimed properties of our MS, let alone BR and now DS. There are many that do not know why they own what they own. This is definitely a weakness evident by reading boards. Someone associates 100% spider silk as something better than what KBLB has. This is a false dichotomy. The goo makers will never achieve stronger spider silk fibers via bacteria. It has been explained or documented right here. Do you think the goo makers don't monitor this board? They do. The reason you are not seeing documented arguments AGAINST the argument that they will never have stronger fiber(better than MS would be a terrific achievement)....is because they know this to be a fact. They know it is likely they will never achieve fibers as strong as MS, again via bacterial production methods. The talk on their part is much bigger than they can deliver. This will become evident as time goes on and KBLB reaches new scientific firsts. Randy Lewis admitted silkworms are the best route.

The superior science will, and IS winning the game. This can only be attributed to the best idea, and execution. I am AMAZED that some folks cannot interpret what they are seeing. Even without the recent data given in the latest PR,(1.79Gpa) no one has 3rd party verification. If you are in a weak position, in the commercial world you do not admit it. Apply this to any business with which you are employed.

The recent news will cause money to dry up for our competition, if they continue to trek the fiber path. 100% spider silk will definitely work for medicinal purposes. We already know there are plenty of approved drugs produced using the ecoli bacteria platform. So it is unlikely they will not have success. I would love to see hernia meshes made from spider silk. They need a mesh that is strong and flexible enough. IF anyone had it, it would be Spiber or Amsilk. They don't. If you can make something stronger than steel, then make a mesh with it and dominate that niche market.

Marketing better than KBLB will only get you so far. Being the first to eclipse spider silk is the game changer. It is the news that will shape the conversation towards fiber properties. Can't touch this.
