I was 10 and living in a small oil camp in Venezuela when I became one of Roy's Buckaroos.. I joined the Double Bar R Club from an ad in a Roy Rogers comic book. I was t hilled when I got my membership card, neckerchief holder and my decoder ring. That contact with America was a big thing to me.

Grand Pa was on Junior for talking badly to Lulu. He told Junior to say something nice to her.. Junior reported that he did say something nice to her.

"told her she didn't sweat much for a fat girl".

That line would be a capitol offence today.
