It depends how much the buyback is for. If it's for 500+ million the float will be basically around a billion. Take all those days of volume and consolidation and trips are a thing of the past, double zeros soon to follow. Hardest part is leaving the trips.
Good example is INCC. 10 Billion A/S to 900 million O/S. Stock went from .0001 to .02 cents in a couple of months, a year ago Same thing to follow with TPAC which should have a very similar float, expect TPAC future announcements will be take this past .02 in my opinion.
