Next month I'm meeting in Wilkesbarre, PA; then on to Charlotte, NC and now I think I'll also schedule a meeting in Greensboro, NC since we are so close to there anyhow. My son-in-law and I are meeting with investor groups about our project and theirs. Next week I'll be meeting over near Mansfield, NH. Strangely enough then in August it looks like we'll have another meeting at MIT labs. Then it is down to near Allentown, PA. One of my associates then returns from Taiwan and we decide on how to present the whole package to complete the financing of our new technology (ontology-based DBMS) and what other short term investments fit for our investors, who will be coming to New York before Thanksgiving. About half of this time is spent on due diligence about other businesses; which is far beyond just calling the PR department. It surprised me about two months ago to learn how much overlap there is among the VC we are involved with for our business discussions and the VC groups involved with fibers, which includes Bolt.
No I will not be sharing what I learn any further than I already have. When you encounter the rigidity of mindsets and the organized resistance and the absurd assumptions about motives that are apparent, why bother?
Some have become aware. That's fine. More will be learning as events unfold.
I'm 75 this month. I had a major operation last year that involved removing half of one of my lungs. The nice thing is being hospitalized for two months motivated some of my associates to complete tender offers that were progressing too slowly. I'm finally converting all of my business venture equities into cash positions and investments. By January 1st I'll have my portfolio completed and be merely doing once per month Board conference calls and quarterly board meetings. The rest of my time will be spent fishing and hugging my precious wife of 53 years of married life.
BTW, when Bolt goes public it will be for roughly $20 per share. It will never be a penny stock.
