Possibly so. It just seems like it takes an enormous amount of buying to move the stock up, but only a little selling to drop it big. The past few days really seem like program trading by shorts to walk the stock down step by step. I was expecting the $1 billion buybacks to provide much better price support to CHK. Maybe they have not started yet?
