Surely when that provision was negotiated onto the agreement the KBLB management expected to be commercially productive long before that, in order to protect their agreement!

Please allow me to explain things to you, so you can "see it." smile

1) Notre Dame is conducting the research, with funding from KBLB..

2) Both Notre Dame and KBLB agreed to the terms, based upon reasonable assumptions of expectations.

Notre Dame would easily know if there were factors that prevented said terms from being met.

As there is a new agreement in place, Notre Dame must be satisfied with the progress thus far....

If not, there would be no reason to sign an extended agreement.

Notre Dame isn't going to put its prestigious reputation on the line for a technology they didn't feel would be viable.

Not long ago there was an interesting flurry of messages about whether or not KBLB had fallen behind in their anticipated schedule for entering into commerce.

Whatever 'dark cloud of doubt' that may have been forecasted was in error....

Brighter days are predicted going forward. wink

I've never claimed to have all the answers but feel i'm beginning to corner the market in questions worthy of them.
