****RANDOLPH V. LEWIS RESPONDS TO QUESTION VIA EMAIL****

I sent:

Dear Esteemed Professor Randy V. Lewis,

Congratulations on the"Watershed' breakthrough.

Does this mean that the costs are approaching that of KBLB's silkworm platform?

Any information will be deeply appreciated.

Take Care and God Bless....God Bless Us All.

Respectfully Stated,

xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxx

Randolph V. Lewis responded:

xxxxxxxx,

Since I don't think KBLB has provided any cost estimates for their
process I guess I can't really answer that question. We do know that this
method will substantially reduce the projected costs of manufacturing.

I responded:

Dear Professor Lewis,

I thank you for your prompt reply.

A Live Science Article states:

Cheap threads
Once production is up and running, Thompson estimates it will cost less than $68 per pound ($150 per kilogram) produced to make the silk.

Based upon this estimation, could it be said that you still have a 'ways to go' before competing with that price parameter?

I do realize that the two companies may be going in different directions, with respect to potentially manufacturing applications and that Araknitek also has foams, film and more under consideration.

Any information will again be deeply appreciated.

Take Care and God Bless....God Bless Us All.

Respectfully Stated,
