Street Artists Brilliantly Skewer Posters For Anti-Gun Actor’s New Movie
The artists struck a nerve with many Americans.

Despite the fact that he has attained A-list status in Hollywood by portraying vigilantes and other heroic figures rarely separated from their trusted firearms, actor Liam Neeson apparently does not believe ordinary Americans should have access to guns.
As Western Journalism has reported, he asserted that he is “totally for gun control in the U.S.,” going on to criticize the pro-Second Amendment message of groups like the NRA.
“Every day we’re seeing some kid running rampant in a school,” he said. “And do you know what the gun lobby’s response to Newtown was? The National Rifle Association’s official response was, ‘If that teacher had been armed….’ It’s crazy.”
As Neeson is busily promoting his latest movie, Run All Night – the poster from which depicts the actor holding a gun – at least some social commentators refuse to let him off the hook for his previous remarks.
The Hollywood Reporter explained a crew of street artists in California began hanging parodies of the movie poster with a new name, Gun All Right, and the pointed tagline: “One hypocrite laughing all the way to the bank.”
The artists obviously struck a nerve with many Americans, as evidenced by the responses to a Breitbart story about the revamped posters.
“I used to see all his movies and now find I have lost interest,” one reader wrote. “You do indeed reap what you sow Liam. You have ruined your movies for me.”
Offering a different perspective, however, was one reader who suggested critics “better stop watching any movie that has an actor in it that has a different opinion than yours on religion, politics, guns, food, gay marriage, abortion etc…”
