Would I be wrong in assuming that MARD, if they so pleased, would be able to convene a panel in order to begin drawing up legislation, forth-with?

I was of the frame of thought that the gm silkworms could easily be contained,as they are unable to fly.

Furthermore, said silkworms are domesticated,hence they exhibited the inability to survive outside of certain specified conditions.


At any rate, I respect the fact that MARD didn't want to proceed,without certain safeguards in place....

The first step in rectifying a problem is identifying it, which they have.

The information was made public by the respective media outlets.

I would love to see a more detailed explanation but I get the feeling that "what you see,is what you get" pretty much.


Here's to hoping that the "powers that be" find a way, sooner,rather than later,that addresses not only their ecosystem issues but also the potentiality of a fruitful business relationship....
