I know. A long time ago a fella came to me with an idea. He needed ten grand to pursue a comic strip with merchandising attached. I passed, since his idea was as stupid as Pawn Stars. As dumb an idea as a show about beautiful girls trying to get by while wearing lingerie at work. My friend finally wound up at Hasbro. The deal? Transformers.

Just because you can't see it does not mean that it is not immensely valuable. My friend is dead now, but his widow is about the wealthiest person I know, and where I live, that's saying a lot.

You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. You cannot
strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot bring on
prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot lift the wage earner
up by pulling the wage payer down.
