#32985 RE: ReelTimer #32984

Well, on coming down to earth, I did meet somebody like that. Except that it wasn't such a big deal. This person spent years trying to sell a screenplay. Finally got a bite but she had already decided to try making the movie herself. with some help they put together a short sci-fi flick--a 'B' movie for a cost of around $225K and sold it to a distributor for $700K. Wow, if RLTR could do just that!

She is still plugging away. Several projects going on. But no great success. However, by comparison to this outfit ...

I ran across a donut-making competition reality show while flipping channels yesterday. One guy was being criticized because he put a peach slice on top of his submission, which made it soggy. I couldn't watch it for more than 120 seconds, the whole time shaking my head while thinking "if this can make it, so can Grounded in Seattle", which actually has a story.

Truth is, Grounded in Seattle could be On-Air tomorrow. I could also give away my services for free. Thanks for setting the record straight on so many facts, including that BH delivered what was promised. Actually doing something like getting somebody to spend millions of dollars, which is outside his control can take a bit longer. And if people assumed THAT is what was promised, then it's their problem. But it doesn't matter, you'll go round-and-round in circles explaining it like my favorite Mike Judge film explaining why it's necessary to water plants with water instead of Brawndo.

Soggy donuts..
