Assuming the GTGP Shorts story is true. It's an example of why I thing shorting is wrong and should be out lawed.
The basic principle of the Stock Market is to bring capital and business together for mutual growth. Shorting shoots that in the head. Shorters can "borrow" shares from true investors. Then be motivated to damage the company.
I simply don't understand how people can say that's a good idea.
