If they clear within the T+3 settlement period, they're not naked shorts.

I know much about naked shorts. I also know that many people on Ihub either mistakenly or purposefully easily bring up naked shorts when the stock price is tumbling....even though they know (in most cases) that it's the company diluting their shares into the market to funders at big discounts.

The MMs are not taking part in naked shorting. They'd lose their licenses if caught, and they make a pretty good living already.
