Publicity. That is all there is to it. If they won it would just give them free publicity. They got some for being nominated and would have got more on a win. But it shouldn't have much effect on the PPS either way.
IMO Kim registered and would make a decision to go when the time came. He chose not to go and that IMO was a good choice. Even with a win I don't think the publicity would be worth the cost of the trip and time taken.


Would have been cool to have that feather to put in our hat but it is not any sort of determining factor.

And it was about as far from a pump as you can get. I seriously doubt that a single share was bought with the intention to profit when they won the award.
