You don't need to be a 'big shareholder' to comment on why they aren't hiring more staff.
This company has transformed tremendously over the past couple years. Yea the stock price hasn't done anything during this time, but for only having 15 employees the company has accomplished a great deal. We know the material works, and works in a device...in ambient conditions...for months...with no degradation...come on that is darn impressive compared to two years ago. We are still tweaking and learning more, but that will never stop so were starting with a version 1.0.
We have enough cash on hand to get us through till the end of 2015. At our current rate of progress, by the end of next year we will have established ourselves in this world. Who knows, maybe well hire another scientist or two. But we don't need to go on a million dollar spending spree on staff just to push it harder. We seem to be pretty effective as we are now...at least the way I see it.
Our new device lab along with our synthesis lab will get us to where we need to go without spending a ridiculous amount of money and diluting the hell out of us...5000 sq ft facility with a class 100 clean room...yea that sounds pretty nice.
Tom said at the shareholder's meeting that the real kicker to get the ball rolling is to have these slot waveguide modulators proved out. We should all understand Toms comment of LWLG being a 'show me' story.
I'd bet the farm that well see a white paper resulting from what we do with the IMEC wafers.
If our results are as good as we are lead to believe, then we will be rich in no time.
Your 65 shares might be able to get you a really nice .45 1911 with a 12 round magazine that you can replace the six shooter with.
