I just cannot get too excited about the bleached waveguide triumph at this point. I dont know how much closer that puts LWLG to being "designed in" for impending commercialization in the 100GB Transceiver market that apparently is already too saturated for LWLG's late entry whenever that may be. This announcement sounded to me like more lab tinkering and CC filler talk that provides minimal if any near term and solid financial grounds for LWLG optimism.

I do think that the work with BNS on the "Spatial Light Modulator" (SLM) and subsequently on an "Optical Correlator" for the Airforce SBIR sounded like it was the project that had moved furthest along and was certainly due for some color to investors. It would be particularly instructive to learn what the end game would be for this project is - everything here unfortunately is extremely vague because I am guessing that its all classified. If ultimately this proves to be another dead end than I see a pattern of LWLG's unfulfilled joint projects announced that include but are probably not limited to LMT, Celestech & Fiberlogix in which case I will very carefully consider selling.

Feel free to correct my misunderstanding about any of this - my mind is tired of this and grown cynical but it is not closed to other well constructed and thought-out opinions.
