I agree with the author that POET's chances of "replacing silicon" is almost nonexistant. However, IMO the author pushed the bearish arguement too far making their innovations seem worthless. There is clearly some short term potential for POET tech in RF. In contrast, Lightwave is attempting to complement silicon technologies, not replace it.
