if someone is going to invest their hard earned money, they should always do some research to determine where and how it is best to place their money...

So which is it? should they do research or not?

IMO they should do research. AND they should read your posts. That way they can find out how exaggerated the problems are on a message board.

The research can put some perspective on the company that someone who doesn't research would never be able to have.

Message board complaints are some of the best DD out there. I have probably learned more about silkworms and gene manipulation in disproving the wild complaints here than I ever would have by just researching silk.

The list of "issues" and "competition" that are brought up here to use as examples of why failure is imminent are a great learning tool.

After all if I say 2+2=5 and you prove I am wrong you just learned how to add right?
