Well it turns out that the only thing that was erroneous was Eric's statement that it wasn't discontinued.

The product has not been discontinued....would it not be more appealing to a first time buyer to have to only purchase 1 bottle instead of 3?...eh?....if the customer likes the product, then he or she can purchase all they want....if they don't like the product, then they only spent money on 1 bottle...pretty simple eh?....you like it you buy more...you don't like it, you move on....
