100 % water loss seems perfectly reasonable to me. The whole point of doing this in the desert is that warm dry air easily absorbs moisture. In order for that air to give up the moisture afterwards will require significant energy. You've got 50 mph warm moist air blowing out turbines. What mechanism is going to force the water back out of the air ? It will just blow across the countryside and blend in with the surrounding dryer air, never to be seen again (locally).

To capture the water, you would need to contain the air in a giant bubble or something and either cool it, or compress it. That would be a big energy drain.
