Could Anatabine help those with MS?

The press has been poking a lot of fun at the storyline in the McDonnell trial where Maureen McDonnell told Mitt Romney's wife that Anatabloc might help her MS. What if Maureen McDonnell was right? Let's investigate what we already know about Anatabine and MS.

Here's a study (on mice) conducted by the Roskamp Institute.

Here's a discussion by Dr. Michael Mullan (CEO of Rock Creek Pharmaceuticals) explaining the testing results of MS infected mice with and without Anatabine treatment.

I wonder if the press will retract all their derogatory statements if Anatabine is proven to help people with MS.

FWIW, we are now seeing more and more information about how anatabine can help people. Here are a couple of links about anatabine that you may find of interest.
