Agree with this interpretation of events. And this "logic" was known to be common in BP as recently as 3 or 4 years ago. What astounds me is that they used this "logic" in 2013 - when targetted onc therapies had already become the rage.

BTW - even 7 or 8 year ago there was a strong case to be made targetting made sense in *some* cases. So I found the 'cynical' attempts to extend the patient population repellent in those cases. But as long as no one broke ranks it arguably made economic sense. However in 2013 it was both repellent and made no economic sense. Hence my bemusement.
