Unless your living in the past stuck in the 70's or 80's or 90's the SEC has sanctions social media as an effective way for companies to communicate their messages and even raise capital. Today the whole world is engaged in social media from celebs to CEO. You must be living in the past if you don't think that social media is not the forward thinking of companies to communicate. As you see even this board turns to social media as before it access to information was much more limited.
