I was thinking of an analogy to describe the B(ABSSSI) Phase 2b trial.

After reading some posts awhile back about how the B works in killing the bacteria I came up with this analogy.

It's like a Tsunami. In a Tsunami there are many waves. But it is usually the first one that is the BIG wave. It hits land and dévastâtes all in it's path. But after that first wave there are other inferior size waves. But the biggest dammage to the land and everything on it, was already done by the first wave.

This is how B works in killing bacteria. And it is why the B phase 2b trial will show that 2nd, 3rd, and 4th day treatments are not necessary because the first and biggest treatment on day one already did all the damage.

In Phase 2a we saw that .4mg was enough to do 95% compared to %98 for Daptomycin,... all with no side effects and no resistance.

So with Phase 2b we have .6mg and .8mg for our two one day doses. I am very confident that both will prove effective and equal to Dapto.
