Mexico is starving. The hot dry climate may prove suitable. GKG could bring jobs to the country and reduce the migration north and give people hope. UCANR's research is important to confirm GKG suitability in drought climates. Imagine if the research confirms drip or flood irrigation is ideal as we believe it is.
