I got into Vertex during the early trials. I did about everything wrong I could with that stock, from emotional buying to selling. I learned a few good lessons doing postmortems on my buying and selling decisions. As you say; I try to learn from my mistakes, and I keep learning, and am getting better.

I used boards to educate myself on my HCV and recently into the ION-1 Gilead trial for naives. I decided that as a trial participant I would also invest, since it was one area of the market (HCV space) that I could claim *some* knowledge.

I use boards now to augment my investing knowledge (i-hub and it's members have been helpful). I have a decent handle on the infection and treatment, but my investing skills are really what has needed help. I have done so much better this time around...... but have a long ways to go.
