well one of them is predicting fiber in 2015...sounded like quite a ways out the first time i heard it and shareholders were sure kblb would be way ahead... oops

You must be referring to Spiber:

Spiber has raised $8 million from Japanese investment banks to develop a process for generating spider silk from engineered bacteria. The company plans to open a pilot facility by 2015 capable of producing 100 kg of spider silk fiber per month. Spiber says a single gram of its protein produces about 5.6 miles of artificial silk.

PLANS to open a pilot facility that's capable of producing 100kg of spider silk fiber monthly, by 2015.

KBLB will be producing METRIC TONS,COST-EFFECTIVELY, by mid year 2014.


Spiber will still be up against price to quality deficit parameters....it's unavoidable.
