"In any event your argument is a total non sequiter"

I had no argument...I had a question...and all it took was a simple yes or no...

but since you went there, im just a little skeptical about a scientist who, without reservation, is convinced that foreign dna used in a worm that is already being injected with foreign dna is just fine and shouldn't be any problem at all..

and yet no one has a clue what dna is being used from what type of organism or where its being put...

but we're pretty sure its all good?...

"PS: a 30% reproduction rate is entirely acceptable for silkworm production (their rate is 100 to 200X per generation and the cost of raising and reproducing them is very low and only a very small fraction of production costs (which are overwhelmingly reeling and spinning). So a 30 to 60X reproduction rate would have been entirely workable."

that might sound just dandy to say that 30% is entirely acceptable but I doubt businessmen are really too pleased with 70% wasted product...no matter how "cheap" you might feel that is...which I doubt sounds all that cheap when you start calculating it in terms of hundreds or thousands of tons..
