I have no doubt of a general conspiracy, but i believe by focusing on totally unprovable 9/11 allegations, those who believe in the cabal's involvement with that event will always be marginalized as proverbial nutjobs. Besides, I still believe that Islamic jihadists did in fact hijack those planes and fly them into US facilities, but after that we will never know the truth about 9/11, or at least the extent of it. Ever. Not me or you or roguedolphin or whoever it is who makes those videos. I don't believe that Oswald acted alone and i don't believe in the magic bullet theory, but once people start explaining about what really happened -- whether their explanation is the cia or the mafia or Cuba or New orlean businessmen -- they are talking out their asses, and so are the people who say they know what really happened in 2001.

There is one thing I know for certain -- the Rosicrucians didn't knock down the towers.

I am much more intersted in finding out who attended and what was said at Cheney's energy policy hearings in the beginning of 2001, and how often Iraq was mentioned. That is something that is discoverable, and it has more bearing on the horrible mess conservativism has currently placed us. The attempts by conservatives to distance themselves from Bush is just as big of a lie as the others they perpetrated on America. Bush acted out Reagan's policies to a T -- cut taxes for the wealthy, declaw regulatory agencies, and spend like crazy on the military. Reagan himself used to say it himself . . . the game plan was to put the US so far in debt (due to military spending) that social programs would by necessity be cut. The Republicans are the perennial war party, which is not the same as being for a strong national defense.

Why do you guys (and gals, woofer) continue debating senor gilead? As long as you do so, you let him set the terms of debate, and you have already pegged him and his ideological bedfellows for the what they and their beliefs stand for -- selfishness and selfishness alone. I say fug 'em. The Republican Party is going to have to court the center if they want any chance to win next year (hence Guliani), and you and i represent the center better than do right-wingers like gilead or the otc's.
