You are correct institutions will do there own DD and in states that are MJ legal they are are already well versed on the federal laws governing this. But because of the movement almost any lender know the regs. I personally know several companies myself included that have MJ dealings and have conventional loans. So for me this is a pointless discussion because I already have the facts.

They would lend to them. If MYDX qualifies for the loan they will get it. but the banks you listed do not loan to any company unless they have collateral to back it up, MYDX or anyone. So if MYDX has 100k in the bank and requests a loan from BOA they may get it. I got a 500k loan from Washington Trust for my company but even though it was incorporated with 5 years of good standing, grossing 1.3 mil a year, I had to personally sign and put up my 475k lake property to get it.

The law is clear. If you finance companies producing or selling controlled substances without a federal permit to do so your funds could be at risk. If you finance companies that controlled substance producers or sellers purchase products from, you are not at risk. Common sense explains this along with several court cases on record backing up the consensus. Otherwise if Home Depot sold lighting, wiring, switches, flooring, drywall, the list can go on forever; Home Depot would be in federal court right now along with every bank that financed Home Depot for selling to MJ companies. Obviously in the beginning MYDX went to toxic financing to get the ball rolling, as 1000's of start-ups do. Funny though, they have paid off that debt unlike 1000's of others. with an understanding of conventional financing you can see how they could easily look appealing. One example is inventory. They have a proven sales record now at $700 a unit times 1000 equals 700k in inventory which to a bank is an asset. yes they would deduct cost of production but that figure can be easily manipulated to show far more in asset value.

THIS IS CORRECT WITHOUT A DOUBT. I spoke to my uncle who is retired as VP of one of Washington States oldest and largest banks. He said the federal government would have no say in MYDX due to the fact they do not produce or sell a federally illegal product. His example was scales, lighting and laboratories. Banks offer financing to all and they sell products and services to cannabis growing and selling companies. So obviously MYDX can obtain any conventional financing offered that it qualifies for period...

He was also an executive for a MM in the past. He said that MM's can move stocks several points without ever really selling to the public to give the illusion of movement either up or down in an attempt to stimulate the market. This is the function of MM's and you will see it excessively in stocks that are not moving such as stocks where longs command the presence.
