37,400 shares here, in since December of 2016, average PPS of $0.34. Good luck everyone.
Ouch.....
Thanks Poor Man. I am definitely holding steady, just need to vent every so often and stomp my feet! Very frustrating experience, but I am definitely riding this crazy roller coaster to the end, hopefully with a happy finale! Best of luck to you, thank you for your response, and hopefully we all get rewarded for our patience and fortitude, especially those suffering from this disgusting disease and their families.
Jack, I can't possibly thank you enough for that response. I am very frustrated, but ultimately I am not going anywhere. I am seeing this to the end, no matter which end that is. I will be screenshotting your response for sure and reading it every time I get that queasy feeling! Best of luck to all longs, management and especially the patients and their families! Have a great Labor Day weekend and hopefully we all get some good news soon...
I am starting to give up. Been invested since December of 2016 and still nothing. Excuse after excuse. Every promising date or event comes and goes with nothing. Getting that feeling in my stomach that this isn't going to end how I hoped. Not sure when I am finally going to pack it all in, but it is coming soon. I don't have the stomach for this any more.
I just checked my TD Ameritrade account.....yup, still poor and broke!
Huh.....I always thought it was the "pot" calling the kettle black. Both ways work though. Interesting....
At 45 years of age I sincerely thought that I had a pretty firm grasp of the difference between good news and bad news. Being invested in this stock for the past 18 months has forced me to question that and has made me worry about my overall level of intelligence. Luckily I am able to remain patient and calm and hope with every fiber of my being that the good guys prevail. Good luck to all longs over the course of the next 4-5 months but more importantly I hope that those suffering from cancer will soon be able to live long and healthy lives.
The pearl is in the muddy river....
One week from today my son Michael and I will be shaving our heads for the 7th straight year to raise money for Childhood Cancer Research with St. Baldrick's! Please consider visiting his website at www.stbaldricks.org/participants/mypage/952685/2018 to make a tax deductible donation to this amazing charity. Thank you! Go NWBO, patients, and fellow longs!
Where the hell is Maverick? This shit is right up his alley! Different strokes for different folks!
I prefer shooting the bear. Then having it stuffed and put on display for all of the other bears to see so that they know who not to f@%$ with....
My son and I just signed up again for our 7th year in a row of shaving our heads and raising money for Childhood Cancer Research with St. Baldrick's! Over the past 6 years the two of us have raised over $65,000!!! So proud of my 16 year old son for happily and excitedly rising to the occasion each year! If you want to learn more about St. Baldrick's or want to donate to this awesome charity, please visit his page at www.stbaldricks.org/participants/mypage/952685/2018 or my page at www.stbaldricks.org/participants/mypage/952673/2018. I know that when NWBO finally hits I will be making a hefty donation to this amazing charity!!!
Yes, unfortunately he did. Six more weeks of waiting, um, I mean winter!
What will come first, release of the memo or the 65+ authored peer reviewed Northwest Bio article....?
If the groundhog sees his shadow on Friday then there will be no publication for another 6 weeks....
Was scrolling through Twitter and saw that Northwest Bio follows BBC News UK. Amid the recent news, I found that interesting....
Feel free to call Okapi
1-877-566-1922
They were very helpful!
Good luck!
Yes. They called me on my home phone. I was kind of surprised when I saw Okapi on the caller ID!! I don't believe everything I read on here, so I thought this calling shareholders at home was b.s. to be honest. I own 37,400 shares. Nothing that I thought they would trouble themselves about!
I bought mine in a regular cash account through Scottrade.
I am a nobody with only around 40,000 shares and they contacted me last night at home. This is the only stock I own so I have no idea if this is typical or not. I told them I already voted via the proxy email I got. But a few minutes ago I was on Twitter and Chris L. was encouraging everyone to call Okapi and make sure they had your votes. So I did. Hopefully this is a Cofer Black tactic to identify the shorts like many here believe. Tic toc....
Is it too much to ask that the NEJM put that beautiful picture of the dendritic cell right on the cover?!?
Speculation, speculation, speculation..... I have been in for 13 months and every time I get excited or think that something is FINALLY going tok happen, it never does. This time definitely feels different, but nothing means anything until something finally means something! Hopefully this is finally it, but not believing anything until I see it.
I got an email from Scottrade this morning as well. I followed the link and completed my voting in just a couple of minutes. It was easier than I expected. I feel like such a big boy! No listing of how many shares I hold on the proxy, but it is very clear on my Scottrade account. Not worried. Hoping for news this week. Good luck everyone.
I gave up months ago trying to figure out the "why's" of this company. I just hold tight, stay positive, add when I can, and drink heavily on the bad days. My liver really hopes things go positive soon! Good luck to all. Happy holidays!
Different levels of sponsorship. There is platinum, gold, silver, bronze, etc.
Cognate and Northwest Bio both as Silver Sponsors.....interesting.
I feel something brewing also, but that's probably because I ate pork last night....always messes with my belly. Happy holidays!
I was only listing positives....
Understood. Makes sense. And so we wait....
Today is exactly 1 year that I started investing in NWBO. Still holding out hope. Still trying to stay positive. Still haven't sold, only added when I have a little extra cash. My average price is $0.33, so that is a good thing while we wait. So much potential here. So many different possibilities for good news each and every day. So I wait. What will happen first....Cofer Black, peer reviewed article, FDA approval, top line results, merger with Cognate? Something has to give. What will it be? Who will win in the end? Who will be right? Hopefully the patients overall are the winners and cancer sufferers worldwide get some positive results. Until something extremely positive or extremely negative happens, I wait....Merry Christmas and a Happy, healthy and prosperous New Year to Everyone!
If I had the money I would definitely take advantage of this opportunity. They aren't giving us information because they can't give us information. Instead they are giving us an opportunity. Unfortunately most of us are in as deep as we are going to venture without news, but I guarantee plenty of investors that have the means to do so take them up on this. I view both offerings as very positive and very bullish. It is a waiting game. I am in for the long haul, and I hope every day that this pays off. I honestly suspect that it will. Thursday marks exactly 1 year since I first bought NWBO. I haven't sold a single share and have added every time I had the ability. I hope for all of us that this story has a happy ending!
I just heard a radio commercial with Jimmy Smits for Stand Up To Cancer talking about Immunotherapy being t hed next big thing in cancer treatments. Anyone else hear it? At the end he directsz you to go to SUTC.org/immunotherapy.
That's my birthday...
With all of this voting talk I decided to finally look at what type of account I actually have. It says "Cash Brokerage Account # __________". I assume that is what I would want? This is my only stock, all of my actual retirement accounts are managed by my Union. I bought all of my shares with cash so I guess that makes sense.
100% Guarantee that news will be released on a day that ends in a "Y". You heard it here first!
I am noticing that we haven't heard from quite a few posters for a little while now. Where is that guy that always said "different strokes for different folks"? And RKMatters has been missing, along with Chris, Mr. Chow, and a bunch others that I enjoyed reading. I doubt they left. Hopefully just waiting quietly and patiently.....Good luck everyone, I really hope this is what we all think/hope that it is. We are all in pretty deep, so this could change a lot of our lives. Most importantly, the success of NWBO means a huge blow to cancer and hope and health to patients and their families! Sleep well everyone, stay positive, be patient, and keep rooting for the good guys!
Especially the Western...
Thank you very much for the explanation Doc. I am not going anywhere, holding strong until the end. All I really meant was that this information will definitely not be taken for what it actually means, but instead likely twisted by the naysayers. Again, thanks for confirming what I was thinking/hoping this information meant. We continue to wait....One of these days....
Oh boy.....that can't possibly help things.
