Vee should be looking at Anavex Life Sciences to help with multiple drug candidates. Just say'n
Have you seen In Paid partnership with Anavex"
I just watched the video, nope. News channels and patients from research studies aren't paid.
The treated MS patients were noted as having significant reduction of brain lesions as shown on imaging.
For what it's worth; I asked a patent attorney friend about examples listed in patent documentation of an approved patent.
He said, "Yes, they could be made up, but if your patent was granted, you would open yourself up to revocation of the patent if challenged." (So the company has no incentive to lie)
The document is pretty specific as to the age and gender of the patient. I would have to think they are not making up the treatment.

Thanks for posting. I always enjoy the science over conjecture.
Anavex's incorporation in Nevada. One important aspect is the prohibition of takeovers of public corporations, adding another layer of protection.
Best of luck, mine started hurting at night. Years of swimming and skiing took its toll. I met the rep for the Regeneten device, and he told me they can't say it's 100 percent effective, but it's really really close, and recovery time is reduced. Hope your doctor has experience with the product. Cheers.
rotator cup surgery for my shoulder.
Had surgery last Nov, a device called Regeneten, by Smith and Nephew seems to be working well. Good luck.
The mice probably remember the pain of the treatment.
This is not unusual; clinical trials are often stopped when early data suggests a drug will not work.
After our review the committee recommended continuation without changes, most likely the drug is working...
Maybe we should halt the trial, and press the FDA for approval.
I had the very same question a couple of years ago as I reviewed examples in patents, so I asked an attorney who specializes in patent law. His reply was, they could be hypothetical examples, but if they are and the company got sued and they were not real, then the patent would be void. Why would a company not have the data to back up the patent.
Thoughts on thoughts. Presuming that this course of events transpires, that our common genome is corrected to perfection, might that not be a problem for the evolution of mankind? Folks like Elon Musk that may be borderline Autistic, or people that have OCD that work very hard to create innovative ideas, could we be harming natural selection? Would we be stifling the ability for change?
little note
Why not, I have been meaning to contact him.

Yep.
Thanks to everyone for their contributions over the course of the last 8yrs. Without you, through the times of doubt, I might have sold out.
Thank you.

Interesting thoughts, I would hope humanity looks to the stars. With greater life expectancy, it would be possible to travel great distance, raise families while traveling and establish new worlds.
I agree that our social system is going to have a a tremendous burden with folks living longer. We are going to have make adjustments. Maybe the savings in health care costs can be devoted to social security reform. ??
Thank you George awesome article.

Found one of the trials that failed, didn't Dr M state that there were (3) trials that had recently failed in PDD?

ANAVEX®2-73 (blarcamesine) does not impair sleep and has a positive effect on REM sleep behavior disorder
RBD prevalence as of 2017 is estimated to be 0.5–2% overall, and 5–13% of those aged 60 to 99.[1] It is more common in males overall, but equally frequent among men and women below the age of 50.[2] This may partially be due to a referral bias, as violent activity carried out by men is more likely to result in harm and injury and is more likely to be reported than injury to male bed partners by women, or it may reflect a true difference in prevalence as a result of genetic or androgenic factors. Typical onset is in the 50s or 60s.[2]

equate to changing the pathogenesis. Just like the Tau Beta reduction

increased or accelerated nerve growth or repair with blarcamesine in murines
A unique feature of ANAVEX®2-73, compared to another sigma-1 receptor agonist we studied, is that ANAVEX®2-73 accelerates the maturation of oligodendrocyte precursor cells (OPC) to oligodendrocytes (OL)” said Dr Robert P. Lisak. “This is an important feature since OPCs can replace lost OLs by maturing into new potential myelin-producing cells. In other words, ANAVEX®2-73 might promote remyelination. Further data also demonstrates that ANAVEX®2-73 provides protection for OL, OPC’s, as well as central nervous system neurons in addition to helping repair by increasing OPC proliferation and maturation in tissue culture.“

Greetings Clint,
I was wondering if there have been any updates to RTT for US Alzheimer’s patients? It seems that even though 2-73 has been approved in Australia under SAS, travel restrictions preclude a patient from traveling
for treatment. Does the company offer any relief through the RTT program?
Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the message ,
There are no new updates. We are not approved for RTT in US. We will surely press release if there are any major changes.
Best Regards,
Clint
