Thinking next week is going to make for a very interesting start to closing out the year on a positive note as far as Aurora is concerned!

Love it! Thanks for providing that link! Also since Aurora is highly invested in High Tide,

And yes it is open, here is their Dutch link!

https://www.newswire.ca/news-releases/aurora-cannabis-provides-update-on-its-strategic-investment-in-high-tide-inc--829962601.html
And High Tide just reported a 99% increase in revenue along with a positive adjusted EBITDA

So taking this all in to consideration the question that really stands out to me is, why is everyone saying that Aurora will not report favorable earnings? Especially since this report was just released on Canadian adult retail cannabis sales in July were up almost 50% from July 2020 to an impressive C$338.9 million!

Aurora conveniently signed a 2 year agreement with Cantek in Israel at the end of 2020 which if full scale legalization happens I would presume Aurora would also consider adding an Aurora Israel.

Nice post! Miguel said they were really liking Germany, seems as though medical keeps on growing bigger and bigger. Aurora definitely seems to be the biggest MJ player globally. Just need some news about why in the world they would be patenting San Rafael ‘71 for the U.S. Would be great to get news of some kind of acquisition or merger before the long 4th of July weekend!
-ACB
I am pretty sure we have formed a new support, IMO chart is forming classic stair pattern.
My question is why trademark for the U.S. when there business doesn’t involve the U.S. at least up until this point.
Trademark filed last week for San Rafael ‘71 in the U.S.?

Anyone have any constructive ideas why this is needed if Aurora isn’t even allowed to enter the U.S. market…

This link talks about Aurora gains in pps due primarily to Wall Street bets on Reddit, but I know most that post about ACB are being removed as soon as they are posting. So as far as I know this is just from the news as of late. If that WSB group does take an interest look out as this will turn in to another GME very quickly!
-ACB
That’s what I have been saying for months now. ACB has been severely shorted, and they better be careful because are pps is heavily wound up fixing to explode!

https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/do-options-traders-know-something-about-aurora-cannabis-acb-stock-we-dont-2021-05-19
Investors in Aurora Cannabis Inc. ACB need to pay close attention to the stock based on moves in the options market lately. That is because the Jun 18, 2021 $15.00 Put had some of the highest implied volatility of all equity options today.
What is Implied Volatility?
Implied volatility shows how much movement the market is expecting in the future. Options with high levels of implied volatility suggest that investors in the underlying stocks are expecting a big move in one direction or the other. It could also mean there is an event coming up soon that may cause a big rally or a huge sell off. However, implied volatility is only one piece of the puzzle when putting together an options trading strategy.

Pot imports are at an all-time high as a result of medical cannabis legalization, and the German industry is considered the largest legal cannabis market outside of North America. There are many medical cannabis provider health care companies like Drapalin, if you need cannabis for medical purposes you can get from there.
About 4 million Germans use marijuana, according to estimates. The graph of cannabis flower imports demonstrates Germany’s high demand for medicinal cannabis. 4126 kg of marijuana was smuggled in the first half of 2020, up 60 percent from the same time in 2019.

Canadian cannabis giant Aurora Cannabis, Inc. (NYSE: ACB) via its Berlin-based subsidiary Aurora Europe is supporting a medical cannabis-related educational initiative in Germany with €38,000 ($46,198), reported Hemp Today.
Students at Humboldt University of Berlin can now expand their study of medical cannabis by taking part in an interdisciplinary cannabis research class, which is also financially backed by the German Ministry of Education, Research and Science.

IMO we are forming a nice stair step pattern going in to financials. There is a huge gap between $8.40 and $8.80. Also over the last week we have established what seems to be a new resistance level at around the bottom of the gap I am referring to. I will be buying more at the lower end of the gap that I am presuming gets filled first thing tomorrow morning before we start to stair step our way to around the high $9’s to low $10’s on anticipation of financials. If the financials do come out better than expected, watch for the gap between $13.50 and $14 to be filled.
-ACB
I would presume that the next quarters financials will probably be better than the ones coming out on Thursday. That being said, I think we will see more this quarter on the medical side, I also think an increase in rec do to the distribution partner they signed up with getting products in more stores. Also, you had mentioned Hi Tide one of their partners seeing a huge increase in business week over week. As far as Aurora and genetics, well their main focus is on medicinal cannabis so they have already shown they are interested in the genetics as you really have to perfect growing and selling the amounts that Aurora does. So then progressing more in to plant genetics and pharmacology of cannabis so to speak. Maybe this is his way of in directly talking about Aurora teaming up with a pharmaceutical company.. Mexico. Mexico is a joke, and I would think Aurora does not want to elude to the public that they are interested in placing an Aurora headquarters down there because there is no reason to at the moment. I read the next deadline for Mexico is in September, but I also read that Congress might take it up in June. So I would expect no news about Mexico until the country finally figures it out!
-ACB
Great find! Much appreciated informative link!
Thinking we get pushed down the next two days going in to the week of financials.
-ACB
How many more days until financials? Oh yeah 7 trading days… Keep on trying to get that pps lower. I am looking to load the boat as well
- ACB
How hard is it for someone to pay a publication company to write up another SCARY story, to try to shake the share tree? Your timing is perfect as there are 9 trading days to lower the pps with these scare tactics before IMO better than expected financials are released from Aurora. Would love to see the pps get down to $5ish so I can buy about 5,000 more shares to really add a decent size chunk to my stack, before the gap gets filled between $13-$14 and $17-$18! But I will settle to add at the $7-$8 range as I don’t see it getting pushed any farther down then that..

https://www.marijuanamoment.net/mexican-senators-seek-yet-another-extension-of-marijuana-legalization-deadline/
Tomorrow is still the deadline. They sure have been quiet for the last month or so. Best case for the MJ sector would be legalization tomorrow, but worst case is not that bad as we should just churn around these levels until Aurora decides to release some news, or financials come out hopefully better than expected..
-ACB
Tomorrow or Friday could be really, really big! Mexico has been awfully quiet! One would think if they were going to extend the legalization date they wouldn’t wait so close to the actual date to push it thru!

-ACB
Yes, I read that there was a few things that wasn’t ideal, and that they were considering putting a hold on legalization until sometime in September.
- Read this article
https://www.marijuanamoment.net/mexico-marijuana-legalization-bill-advances-in-senate-for-second-day-in-a-row/
This is one small paragraph from this article:
- Due to that urgency, Sen. Eduardo Ramírez Aguilar of the ruling MORENA party said last month that “at this time, it is important to legislate in the terms that are presented to us” and then consider additional revisions to cannabis laws through subsequent bills.
For Mexico, or any country for that matter legalizing a drug that was once deemed in the country as illegal they want to dot all of the I’s and cross all of the T’s so to speak. However, IMO Mexico is way to close for this not to pass now. Every country’s economy has been shattered by this pandemic, and I believe they will push it thru and revise whatever needs revision afterwards. To much money to be lost if they don’t. I talked with you about tourism for example, and how Mexico tremendously depends on it. They are broke, they want to do this to help fight drug cartels. 20 pesos equals 1 American dollar! When they push legalization thru, their countries way of life will get better tremendously, there money will eventually be worth more. It will help poverty, it will bring so many new businesses to Mexico. Just like in the U.S. there are lobbyists that are pushing for this, everyone is pushing for this. Mexico is in the spotlight, when has Mexico ever had this much attention, this kind of opportunity to repair their country. To actually put Mexico at the forefront of every other country in the world. To become a leader in import/export, to have a multitude of new business opportunities for their country? Also, I don’t believe everything that is put out there. Is it a coincidence, or just a scare tactic that the whole MJ sector has been in a huge blood bath for the last month? How can we say what’s really going on in Mexico other than reading a few publications that might also be scare tactics for people to sell their shares in these MJ companies? I call B.S. and IMO I believe it will ultimately be passed in Mexico this month by the deadline. I have all my money on it, and when that gap fills tomorrow or the next day I will be adding a hell of a lot more to my portfolio! Good luck everyone still holding, and my gut says we come out on top very shortly!
-ACB
$7.43 is the bottom of it. So I would expect it to go a bit lower than that by tomorrow, or Friday. Last Friday they let it run some. Normally ACB Thursday it starts to go red and then Friday pps is shoved down our throats. But tomorrow is the 15th, so maybe the pattern will change. Also there was some support at the $7.50 level from when this gap was formed, so I would expect a bounce once it is filled, and hopefully be out of under $10 pps for good! Also Aurora has been very quiet as of late so I also am expecting some news shortly after the gap is filled as well! Good luck to you! I personally will be averaging down once I feel we have bottomed out.
-ACB
Won’t stop until gap is filled.
-ACB
I forgot earnings were coming out for one of the other big MJ plays in the sector on Monday, so that makes sense they waited until this week to fill the gap. As the whole sector went red after the expected sub par revenue. By looking at the chart there was a decent bit of support between $7 and $8 before the gap was formed at the mid $7 level. So anyone watching this ticker knows for the most part Thursday will be the start of the resistance test going in to Friday where usually Friday’s pps is shoved down our throats! Last Friday was an exception where I believe they did let it run a little bit to attract possible new investors, before pushing it down these last 2 days. I expect tomorrow to be somewhat of a green day from where the pps is at currently, but IMO the gap will get filled by end of this week, as we are nearing the deadline for Mexico to fully legalize Cannabis. The reason this is important is it will be extremely easier compared to Canada exporting cannabis to other locations that Canada has been holding up and extremely stifling any kind of momentum for all MJ companies trying to get their products out from the Canadian borders... Again this is why I think Aurora decided to close operations, and sell on some of their facilities in Canada.
